We completed a full house siding renovation on this two-story colonial home in Pittsburgh. The project involved replacing the aged exterior cladding with new horizontal lap siding across the upper levels and gable ends. We carefully integrated the new siding with the existing painted brick facade on the lower story to maintain the home’s traditional aesthetic. We installed James Hardie vinyl siding in Pearl Gray color along with updated trim, gutters, and downspouts to improve the home's weather resistance. The project also included the installation of new attic vents and dark shutters to complement the white-framed multi-pane windows. This renovation provided a clean, uniform appearance while addressing previous issues with peeling paint and rusted hardware.
