Flashing and siding repair

This customer had been dealing with a persistent leak for several years and had multiple companies attempt repairs without success. When Indigo State Roofing was called, we identified the root cause: the builder had not properly flashed and waterproofed the transition between the siding and the roof overhang. To correct the issue, our team removed the affected materials, properly installed flashing, and sealed the opening to ensure long-term protection. We then installed new fiber cement board siding and finished with a fresh coat of paint, restoring the home’s exterior to like-new condition. Unfortunately, previous repair attempts by other contractors had left behind broken siding and heavy, ineffective caulk that only made the problem worse.
