Persistant leak fixed

This homeowner had battled a persistent leak for over eight years, with six different contractors attempting repairs without success. Each prior effort only addressed small portions of the issue, leaving the underlying problems unresolved. When Indigo State Roofing was called in, our inspection revealed extensive issues: compromised decking over the sunroom caused by nail pops and prolonged water intrusion, and improper flashing around the upper dormer that allowed water to collect and cause rot. To fully correct the problem, our team: Removed shingles over the sunroom and replaced damaged plywood. Installed ice & water barrier and a new drip edge to ensure watertight performance on the lower-pitch roof. Corrected dormer flashing by removing shingles, adding new step flashing, and sealing all vulnerable points. Installed matching shingles to blend seamlessly with the existing roof (unlike previous mismatched repairs). Added new trim, painted for a clean finish, and installed Perma-Boots for a lifetime guarantee against vent pipe leaks. Caulked and sealed all exposed fasteners and repaired an additional ridge vent leak. The result was a fully waterproofed roof system, restored curb appeal, and—most importantly—a customer who is finally leak-free and happy after nearly a decade of frustration
