This historic Miami roof replacement was a complex project on a 100-year-old home, and the homeowners brought in International Roofing to help them achieve a long-lasting, thoughtful solution. We installed a Brava Spanish Barrel Tile system in a custom homeowner-selected blend and layout to match the home’s historic character. We also replaced all flat roofing areas with .060 TPO and a tapered insulation system for improved drainage and long-term performance. Due to years of hurricane exposure, we addressed extensive underlying damage including rotten wood and structural repairs, rebuilding areas as needed. The scope also included new skylights, a roof hatch, and updated gutters. A standout part of this project was working in such a unique setting, with Miami’s famous peacocks adding to the experience of restoring this historic home.
