We replaced an aged cedar roof on a luxury home and upgraded it to a long-lasting standing seam metal roof. The biggest challenge was working around nearly 20 custom skylights, each requiring precise removal, deck work, and watertight detailing. We stripped the cedar roof down to the wood deck, installed new plywood, then finished the home with a textured brown standing seam metal roof for a clean look and decades of low-maintenance protection.
