We completed an extensive exterior renovation and painting project for the historic Von Dee commercial building in Fort Lauderdale. Our work began with structural shoring to support concrete overhangs while we addressed significant stucco cracks and weathered masonry across the two-story facade. We focused on prepping the surfaces through pressure cleaning and applying a specialized seal, prime, and paint system to the exposed block walls. For the finishing stages, we applied high-performance materials like Hot Stucco Primer and PPG Clear Sealer to protect the building against the Florida climate. We also repainted the exterior metal staircases and balcony railings using durable PZ-Crete floor paint and black protective coatings. The final result provided a revitalized appearance and long-term weather protection for the property’s balconies and walkways.
