This was one of our highlight projects of the year and a complete transformation from start to finish. An unused patio was fully demolished down to the concrete slab and rebuilt into a custom puppy room designed for comfort, durability, and functionality. My team at Johnny Five Construction installed new drainage, full framing, insulation, drywall, paint, cement board, new siding, and Pella windows. We incorporated a Schluter heated floor system to keep the puppies’ paws warm during harsh winter months, along with proper HVAC ventilation for fresh airflow. The project also included building a custom shower area and new stairs to complete the space. What began as an empty patio is now a fully finished, climate-controlled puppy room — an amazing transformation and one of our proudest projects.
