Project in Boston
A flagship project on a stunning historic Victorian-era brick home in Boston, Massachusetts — a complex, large-scale roof replacement that combined steep-slope shingle work with multiple flat-roof installs on a single property. The main roofline featured an extreme 12/12 pitch, requiring extra safety planning, specialized fall protection, and the kind of steep-slope experience most roofers can't safely deliver. The main roof was finished with CertainTeed Landmark Architectural Shingles in [COLOR — TBD], paired with synthetic underlayment and ice & water shield for layered moisture protection. To handle the home's multiple flat sections, our team installed four separate Mule-Hide EPDM rubber roof systems, each fully adhered for a clean, watertight, low-maintenance finish — every flat section detailed and integrated cleanly into the steep-slope work above. The chimney flashing was fully replaced with custom metal coil flashing for a clean, weather-tight seal at this critical detail. A true craftsmanship-driven project — combining historic preservation, complex geometry, and multiple roofing systems into one unified install. Backed by CertainTeed's lifetime limited warranty on the shingles and Mule-Hide's commercial-grade EPDM warranty on the flat sections.
