We addressed a residential water damage restoration project in Hollywood following a significant second-floor A/C leak. Our team inspected the HVAC air handlers and surrounding interior spaces to identify the source of moisture intrusion and assess the total impact on the home. We documented visible water stains on the ceilings and walls near the staircase, confirming where the leak had compromised the structural surfaces between floors. The damage extended to the home’s interior finishes, where we identified bubbling and buckling in the wood-look laminate flooring. We focused on evaluating the moisture levels in the subfloor and transition areas to determine the necessary scope for remediation. This comprehensive assessment ensures the property can be restored to a safe and dry condition while protecting the long-term integrity of the interior walls and flooring.
