Structural Masonry Repair in Philadelphia
We repaired a collapsed brick pillar and corner section of a building in Philadelphia that had been designated as an unsafe structure. Our team cleared away significant masonry debris and installed temporary wooden shoring to stabilize the garage opening before beginning reconstruction. We rebuilt the corner using a reinforced concrete block backup wall with vertical metal rebar for enhanced structural integrity. To restore the exterior facade, we laid new red brick masonry and applied fresh mortar to match the existing weathered sections. Interior work included resetting metal garage door tracks, patching cinder block walls, and performing detailed trim repairs to address interior cracking and separation. The final result restored the building's safety while seamlessly blending the new masonry with the original structure.
