Lake Home Kitchen Remodel – Galena, Missouri The Allen family came to us from the East Coast looking to transform their lake home in Galena, Missouri. Through Zoom meetings, phone calls, and email communication, we were able to collaborate closely throughout the entire design and remodeling process. We are incredibly proud of how this project turned out. One of the biggest transformations was converting an outdated barn door pantry into a clean, functional coffee bar and pantry area that better suited the homeowners’ lifestyle and storage needs. For cabinetry, the homeowners selected beautiful Shiloh cabinetry, crafted in Missouri’s Bootheel region. The island features a stunning Naval blue shaker-style finish, while the surrounding L-shaped kitchen showcases Arctic White maple cabinetry, creating a timeless contrast that brightens the space. The countertops are MSI Carrara Lumos quartz, providing the elegant look of marble with the durability and low maintenance today’s homeowners desire. Functionality was a major focus of this design. We incorporated one of our most popular storage solutions—a 33-inch drawer-within-a-drawer base cabinet beside the oven for maximum organization and accessibility. Additional features include a pull-out spice rack next to the range and a double trash pullout integrated into the island. This remodel perfectly combines style, storage, and everyday functionality, creating a space the Allen family can enjoy for years to come.
