We recently completed this beautiful and functional bathroom remodel for our customer, Rod Huelsman, using a VA HISA Grant (Veterans Affairs Home Improvement and Structural Alterations). This program provides up to $6,800 in funding for qualified veterans who are 50% or more disabled, helping them make their homes safer and more accessible. For this project, we removed the outdated jacuzzi jet tub and transformed the space into a fully handicap-accessible walk-in shower. The new design features a gentle ramp entry, a moen teak bench, and easy-to-reach fixtures, all focused on accessibility, comfort, and safety. The finished result not only improves daily usability but also enhances the overall look and feel of the bathroom—creating a space that’s both modern and functional for Rod’s needs.
