This Newark home needed new attic ductwork and exterior venting to improve airflow and provide a properly routed exhaust system. We installed flexible metallic ductwork and PVC piping throughout the attic, working carefully around the existing insulation and framing. The new runs were secured to the wooden trusses with metal hanger straps, and connections were sealed with metallic tape to help minimize air leakage. On the exterior, new grid-style vent covers were installed and sealed against the siding for a clean, finished appearance while helping keep debris out of the vent openings. The completed installation provides secure duct routing from the attic to the exterior, with properly supported connections and a neat finish inside and out.
