This bathroom project combined several targeted repairs to clean up the ceiling and update the existing exhaust fan. We patched and repaired a small damaged area in the ceiling, sanded the repair smooth, and primed and repainted the ceiling for a more uniform finish. Grout caulk was also applied and tooled along the seam where the tiled shower walls meet the ceiling, creating a cleaner finished transition. The existing ceiling fixture was replaced with a customer-supplied exhaust fan using the home's existing electrical and duct connections. The new unit was installed and tested for proper operation. The finished project leaves the bathroom with a cleaner ceiling, neater shower perimeter, and an updated, functioning exhaust fan.
