Out with the damaged, in with a fresh new setup. We removed the broken mailbox and 4x4 post, installed a new pressure-supported 4x4 post set securely in concrete, and re-sleeved the existing plastic mailbox cover where applicable. A new white mailbox completed the replacement for a clean, sturdy, and functional finish.
