

Alamo Heights Guest Bathroom Remodel
Renovating the guest bathroom of a 1938 Alamo Heights home required a delicate balance between preserving its original charm and incorporating modern updates. The design focused on maintaining the home's iconic curved lines while refreshing the space with contemporary touches. The shower was transformed with elegant blue vertical stack tiles and accented by sleek chrome plumbing fixtures for a touch of modernity. A custom glass door added a sophisticated flair while maintaining the open feel of the room. To harmonize the design, the shower floor was completed with classic hexagonal Carrara tiles, echoing the larger format hexagonal tiles used throughout the main bathroom floor. This choice of tile not only elevated the aesthetic but also respected the home's historical essence. The transformation was completed by updating the vanity mirror and lighting, creating a cohesive and inviting space that seamlessly blends the old with the new
