Turning a u-shaped kitchen into a pass-through kitchen by moving the sink and increasing the size of the island, this client was able to make a major upgrade to the functionality of their kitchen by reorienting their sink. Additionally, they opted to move away from the glass-front cabinets and old granite countertops to bring in a brighter, lighter quartz countertop with a increased working area provided by lowering the standing height countertop. New flooring replaced the dated tile and even the lighting got an update with new recessed lighting. The resulting kitchen is better for both daily use as well as entertaining guests.
