This Northwest San Antonio kitchen remodel transformed a dated, closed-in space into a bright and highly functional kitchen designed for everyday living. The original layout felt heavy and cluttered, with dark cabinetry, limited lighting, and an inefficient use of space. By reworking the layout and updating finishes throughout, we were able to create a more open, inviting environment without expanding the footprint. The new design features crisp white shaker cabinetry paired with quartz countertops, helping to reflect light and visually open up the space. A redesigned peninsula improves workflow and provides additional seating, making the kitchen more practical for both cooking and gathering. A custom vent hood creates a focal point along the main wall, complemented by a clean subway tile backsplash and under-cabinet lighting for added brightness and functionality. Updated appliances and fixtures complete the transformation, delivering a kitchen that feels modern, cohesive, and easy to live in. The result is a kitchen that feels significantly larger, brighter, and better suited for how the homeowners use the space today.
