Pipe Creek 1970s Bathroom Gets New Look
This bathroom remodel transformed a dated 1970s space defined by square yellow tile walls and linoleum flooring into a clean, timeless bathroom designed with safety and longevity in mind. The homeowner wanted to retain the existing tub while significantly improving both function and aesthetics. The original tile surround was replaced with opalite-look porcelain slab walls, creating a seamless, low-maintenance shower enclosure. Champagne bronze fixtures add warmth and contrast while coordinating with the updated accessories and lighting throughout the space. Multiple strategically placed safety grab bars were incorporated to improve accessibility without compromising the overall design. To complete the transformation, we installed new patterned floor tile, a modern vanity with updated countertop, a new mirror, and enhanced lighting, brightening the room and giving it a cohesive, refreshed look that blends classic comfort with modern functionality.
