This San Antonio bathroom transformation focused on converting an underutilized soaking tub into a spacious, walk-in shower designed for both style and everyday functionality. The original layout featured a large deck-mounted tub paired with a separate enclosed shower that limited usable space and lacked modern finishes. The homeowner wanted a cleaner, more open design with improved storage and accessibility using contemporary materials. Our team removed the existing tub and shower configuration and reimagined the space with a custom walk-in shower enclosure. Large-format marble-inspired wall panels were selected to create a seamless, low-maintenance surface while adding elegant visual movement throughout the shower. A frameless sliding glass enclosure with matte black hardware enhances the openness of the space while providing durability and a modern aesthetic. To increase comfort and usability, we incorporated a built-in bench and recessed storage niche, allowing for convenient organization without cluttering the shower interior. A multi-function matte black shower system was installed, offering flexibility and improved daily usability. The surrounding flooring was upgraded to warm wood-tone luxury vinyl plank, creating visual continuity throughout the bathroom and complementing the neutral wall palette.
