This Schertz kitchen remodel transformed a dark, dated space into a bright and functional kitchen designed for everyday living and entertaining. The original kitchen featured heavy wood cabinetry, tile countertops, and limited visual flow, making the space feel closed in and outdated. Keeping the existing footprint, we redesigned the kitchen with two-tone cabinetry, pairing crisp white perimeter cabinets with a warm wood island to add contrast and visual interest. Quartz countertops were installed throughout, providing a clean, durable surface that brightens the space and complements the new finishes. A custom wood vent hood now anchors the cooking area, framed by a statement tile backsplash that adds texture without overwhelming the design. We also upgraded the appliances, incorporated additional storage solutions, and improved lighting to enhance both function and ambiance. The result is a timeless kitchen that feels open, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to suit the homeowners’ lifestyle.
