Small Bathroom Tub To Shower Conversion Remodel in West San Antonio
This bathroom remodel in the Pipers Meadow neighborhood of West San Antonio transformed a cramped, outdated hall bathroom into a clean and modern guest space with a far more open feel. The original bathroom featured an aging tub and shower combination, laminate vanity top, builder-grade lighting, and older finishes that made the small footprint feel even tighter. The homeowners wanted a more updated look with improved functionality and a brighter overall design. To maximize the space, the old tub was removed and replaced with a sleek walk-in shower featuring custom glass, matte black fixtures, and built-in corner shelving. The frameless-style enclosure helps the room feel larger while maintaining separation from the rest of the bathroom. A new dark wood vanity paired with a modern rectangular sink and updated lighting created a strong contrast against the lighter walls and flooring. The warm wood-look flooring adds character and softness to the otherwise clean contemporary palette. Even though the footprint of the bathroom remained the same, the new layout and finishes dramatically improved both the appearance and usability of the space.
