This Walker Ranch bathroom remodel in San Antonio completely reimagined the layout to create a more open, functional, and modern primary bathroom. The original space featured a large garden tub, a cramped walk-in shower, and storage that didn’t make the best use of the room. By rethinking the placement of these elements, we were able to dramatically improve both the flow and usability of the bathroom. The garden tub and small shower were removed and replaced with a much larger walk-in shower, creating a spacious and luxurious focal point. The new shower features dramatic large-format stone-look tile walls, a built-in bench, and a recessed niche for convenient storage. A frameless glass enclosure keeps the space feeling open while allowing the beautiful tile work to take center stage. To further improve functionality, the storage layout was redesigned. Custom cabinetry provides significantly more organized storage while maintaining a clean and streamlined look. The new double vanity with quartz countertops, updated lighting, and modern fixtures helps brighten the space and bring everything together. The finished bathroom now feels larger, brighter, and far more practical for everyday use. By eliminating the underused tub and expanding the shower, this Walker’s Ranch remodel created a bathroom that better fits the homeowner’s lifestyle while delivering a fresh, modern design.
