Historic Theater Masonry Restoration
Leonard & Sons performed a full exterior masonry restoration of this historic theater, preserving its original character while restoring structural integrity. Work included grinding out and tuckpointing deteriorated mortar joints using dust-controlled equipment, with new mortar carefully matched to the original. A corner pillar was dismantled and rebuilt using the salvaged original brick. Crews also replaced a rusted lintel and damaged block, repaired vertical cracks with properly prepped polyurethane sealant, and re-caulked the terra cotta and face brick joints. Scaffolding maintained safe public access to the theater entrance throughout, and all repaired surfaces were cleaned upon completion — leaving the landmark restored and protected for years to come.
