This project was a great example of why you have to look closer at the details. The real problem here wasn't just the old gutters—it was the drip edge. It wasn’t long enough to reach the gutters, so water was literally running behind them and soaking the house. We went ahead and replaced the drip edge around the entire house. To really make it stand out, we matched the flashing to the new black gutters. Now, the water actually goes where it's supposed to, and that black trim against the white brick looks incredible—it really pops.
