This project turned an otherwise unused basement into a luxury space and family hangout area, nearly doubling the useable square footage of this rambler with daylight basement. To accomplish this project, we had to add under slab plumbing, reframe walls, and cut in windows to bring natural light into a new guest suite and office. To help bring Fobes hill Studios design to life, we custom built a cozy eating nook, and hand crafted a beautiful ash eating bar and dining table to match. We also improved the entrance to the basement - which had been through the garage. By adding on a new mud room in the garage, we were able to bring the entire stairwell into the conditioned home to make the basement feel like an extension of the home instead of a totally separate space.
