We completed a comprehensive residential roof replacement for this brick home in Charlotte, North Carolina. The project involved a full tear-off of the existing shingles to inspect the underlying decking. We then installed a new dual-material roofing system across both the pitched shingle sections and the critical low-slope flat roof areas. For the primary surfaces, we used Owens Corning Architectural shingles for a durable and refined finish. On the low-slope sections, we applied a high-performance EPDM rubber membrane to ensure long-term waterproofing for the home’s specific architectural layout. We completed the roof with RhinoRoof U20 underlayment and new ridge vents to optimize attic ventilation and provide lasting protection for the entire structure.
