We conducted a comprehensive water damage assessment and mold remediation project at this Naples home. Utilizing FLIR thermal imaging technology, we identified hidden moisture signatures behind drywall and under tiled surfaces in several rooms, including the laundry area and main living spaces. Once the moisture sources were located, we carefully removed affected materials such as damaged baseboards and lower drywall sections to treat the underlying metal framing. To prevent cross-contamination, we installed protective plastic barriers and floor shielding throughout the work zones. Our team deployed industrial-grade dehumidifiers and air scrubbers to manage indoor humidity levels and extract deep-seated moisture from the framing and subflooring. This precise approach ensured the interior was fully stabilized and prepared for final restoration.
