This Billerica project focused on a complete EPDM roof replacement along with siding updates. The scope began with the removal of the existing TPO membrane system, including flashings, insulation, skylights, and curbs. A Mule-Hide gray EPDM system was then installed, complete with new Poly ISO insulation, custom-built curbs, and two Velux curb-mounted skylights with solar shades. All flashings, penetrations, and seams were detailed with Mule-Hide’s warrantied products, ensuring durability and watertight protection. On the rear of the home, we removed old siding and trim, installed Tyvek house wrap with ¼” fan fold insulation, and fitted CertainTeed Monogram .046 D4 vinyl siding. The trim was upgraded with vinyl lineals around windows and doors, white aluminum-wrapped fascia and rake boards, and vented vinyl soffits for airflow. A storm door was re-installed after ensuring square framing. The result is a weather-protected, low-maintenance exterior that blends performance and curb appeal.
