Garage Roof Replacement & Trim Repair

This project focused on restoring the garage roof and damaged trim. The crew stripped the garage roof down to the decking, re-nailed loose boards, and replaced about 10 sq. ft. of decking using a homeowner-supplied ledger board. Grace ice & water barrier was installed at all eaves, followed by Mighty Dog U20 Synthetic Underlayment across the rest of the roof for long-term leak protection. The new roof system was completed with Owens Corning Oakridge Lifetime Shingles in Desert Tan, capped with matching ProEdge hip and ridge shingles. In addition, 60 feet of damaged trim—including fascia, soffit, and shadow board—was replaced along the eaves to restore the roofline’s durability and appearance. The project concluded with a full clean-up and magnetic sweep.
