Onyx Black Roof Transformation in Maynard, MA

This project focused on resolving water intrusion from two problem areas on the roof—leaks around the chimney and above the kitchen window—as well as repairing storm-damaged siding. We removed all worn-out chimney flashing and surrounding shingles, then reinstalled new Grace Ice & Water Shield, step and counter flashing, and new shingles, following full code-compliant waterproofing methods. A second leak on the back of the house was addressed by removing a 10x10 ft roofing section, inspecting decking, and installing new OC Duration shingles, Grace barrier, and ProArmor underlayment. On the siding side, we removed and replaced torn panels and a damaged gable vent. All replaced materials matched the home's original Desert Tan Monogram D4 vinyl siding.
