Roof & Rubber Roof Repairs

This project focused on giving a multi-surface roof system new strength and protection. On the main house, we stripped away worn asphalt shingles, re-nailed loose decking, and upgraded the structure with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles backed by the Platinum Protection Warranty. Key reinforcements included heavy-duty aluminum drip edge, new step and lead chimney flashing, and lifetime vent pipe boots. For additional durability, the roof deck was sealed with Rhino Ice & Water Barrier and Mighty Dog underlayment. On the flat roof section, we carefully re-secured the rubber roofing with a termination bar and caulking system, applied fresh lap sealant to all seams, and installed new aluminum counter flashing for watertight protection. To complete the scope, the siding transition wall was opened, fitted with new step flashing and ice & water shield, then closed back seamlessly for a clean finish. With these updates, the home is now protected against leaks, algae growth, and high winds up to 130 mph, giving the family peace of mind for years to come.
