Roof Replacement with Owens Corning Duration Shingles

This project focused on giving the home a durable and secure new roof system. The team stripped away the old asphalt shingles, re-nailed loose decking, and even removed an unused satellite dish to clear the way for a clean installation. Heavy-duty aluminum drip edge, step flashing, and lead counter flashing were added to protect against water intrusion at key areas like the chimney and roof edges. The roof was fully weatherproofed with Grace Ice & Water Shield on eaves, valleys, and penetrations, and Owens Corning Deck Defense underlayment across the remaining deck. New lifetime vent pipe boots and a ridge vent system were installed to ensure proper ventilation and long-term performance. Finally, the home was finished with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Slatestone Gray, capped with ProEdge hip and ridge shingles for a seamless look.
