Roof Replacement & Gutter Installation – Chelmsford, MA

This Chelmsford project involved a comprehensive roofing upgrade and the installation of a new gutter system. The roofing scope included removing the existing shingles, re-nailing the decking, and adding new underlayment with Grace Select and Owens Corning Pro Armor for full leak protection. Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Onyx Black were installed, along with new step flashing, chimney counter flashing, three static vents, two bathroom exhaust vents, and a new HVAC exhaust pipe. A chimney cap was added, mortar cracks repaired, and attic ventilation improved with ridge vents, soffit vents, and blocked gable vents. PVC fascia and shadow boards were also installed for added durability. For the gutter system, we installed over 75 feet of new 6" seamless aluminum gutters with three large downspouts, reinforced fascia at a vulnerable corner, and applied OSI caulking to prevent water intrusion. White gutter splash guards were installed in roof valleys, and T-Rex gutter guards were added, offering a 25-year clog-free warranty. The project concluded with a full site clean-up, magnetic sweep, and is protected by a 5-Year Mighty Dog Workmanship Warranty plus Owens Corning’s Platinum Protection Warranty.
