Skylight Leak Repair & Interior Restoration

This skylight leak repair project involved removing the leaking unit above the bathroom and installing a new fixed VELUX C06 skylight with solar shades. We sealed the area with Grace ice and water barrier, applied a new VELUX flashing kit, and shingled the surrounding area—doing our best to match the existing roof despite expected fading. On the interior, we cut out and replaced the water-damaged drywall above the shower, matched the texture as closely as possible, and repainted for a seamless finish. We also inspected the insulation for moisture or mold and replaced it as needed. This project is backed by a 5-year Mighty Dog workmanship warranty and a 10-year installation warranty through VELUX for long-term peace of mind.
