Transformation with CertainTeed Cedar Siding | Methuen

For this project, we replaced old cedar shake siding with durable, low-maintenance CertainTeed Cedar Impressions® polymer panels. We began by carefully removing the existing siding and inspecting the underlying structure for damage. After installing a weather-resistant barrier and flashing around four windows, we mounted the new siding with proper expansion gaps and trim detailing. To elevate the home's aesthetic, we also installed Owens Corning Duration® architectural shingles on the flared wall sections, blending roofing and siding seamlessly. Every detail was handled with precision—from flashing to trim—to replicate the warmth of natural cedar with modern performance.
