Historic East Nashville Bathroom Transformation This East Nashville bathroom remodel transformed a once-cramped space into an open, airy bathroom while preserving the character of the historic home. We removed walls, reworked the layout, relocated the toilet, and improved the lighting to make the space both larger-feeling and more functional. Natural stone, alternating marble floor tile, and intentionally imperfect ceramic shower tile bring warmth and historic character, complemented by a furniture-style vanity and statement sconces. One of our favorite details is the custom shower glass designed specifically for an awkward triangular opening, allowing us to turn a challenging space into a beautiful, functional feature. This project is a great example of combining modern functionality, custom solutions, and materials that still feel authentic to an older home.
