Elevated Deck Transformation This project started with the complete demolition of an existing deck that required steps down from the back door. We rebuilt the space with a larger, taller deck positioned at the door level, creating a seamless walkout with no step down and significantly more usable outdoor living space. The new design features finished wood skirting around the deck, durable metal spindles with wood handrails, and a wide custom staircase recessed into the deck footprint. By integrating the stairs into the deck rather than extending them farther into the backyard, we were able to preserve more usable yard space while creating a much more open and inviting transition from the deck to the lawn.
