Ector St Kids Bath
This bathroom remodel focused on updating the tub and shower area while improving durability, function, and overall appearance. The existing bathtub, tile surround, plumbing trim, valve, and backer board were removed down to the studs. A new 60 x 32 gloss white steel bathtub with an integrated skirt and right hand drain was installed, along with a Delta valve and trim featuring a handheld and showerhead combination and tub spout. The tub surround walls were rebuilt to be flat and secure, then finished with Onyx Collection solid surface wall panels installed to approximately 84 inches high, including a built in shower niche and a customer supplied curtain rod. The bathroom floor was fully updated by removing the existing tile, temporarily removing the toilet, and reinstalling it with a new wax ring after the work was complete. Customer supplied tile and grout were installed on the bathroom floor in the selected layout, with baseboards reinstalled or replaced as needed to complete the space. The vanity area was refreshed by removing the pedestal sink, mirror, and light fixture. A customer supplied vanity cabinet and top were installed, along with a new Delta Nicoli single hole faucet in matte black. New supply lines, shutoff valves, and a new P trap were provided and installed. The project was completed with a new Panasonic WhisperLite exhaust fan, proper cleanup and debris removal, and coordination around customer selected finishes to deliver a clean, updated, and functional bathroom.
