This remodel reimagined the bathroom with a focus on longevity, clean lines, and materials chosen to perform as well as they look. The project began with a full removal of the existing tub, tile surround, plumbing trim, and backer board down to the studs, allowing the space to be rebuilt correctly from the inside out. A new 60 by 32 gloss white steel bathtub with an integrated skirt and right hand drain now anchors the room, paired with updated plumbing and a modern valve system that includes a showerhead, handheld wand, and tub spout for everyday flexibility. The tub surround was finished with solid surface wall panels from the Onyx Collection, selected for their durability, low maintenance, and seamless appearance. Installed to approximately 84 inches high, the panels feature a classic subway tile texture in gloss white and are accented with a built in niche that blends storage and design without visual clutter. The surrounding walls were carefully prepared to ensure a flat, solid foundation, allowing the finished surfaces to feel intentional and refined rather than simply replaced. Attention was also given to the supporting elements that complete the space. The bathroom floor was updated with customer selected tile, installed in a clean, cohesive layout that ties the room together. The vanity area was refreshed with a customer supplied cabinet and top, complemented by a matte black faucet that adds contrast and a modern edge. New plumbing connections were installed throughout, along with a quiet, high performance exhaust fan to improve ventilation. The result is a bathroom that feels brighter, more functional, and thoughtfully designed, with materials from the Onyx Collection providing a polished, long lasting foundation for everyday use.
