NCS completed an emergency replacement of an existing MR500 boiler system, which consisted of two boiler sections operating as a two-boiler setup. The project included removing and recycling the existing equipment and installing two new Peerless GM Series cast-iron hot water boilers to support the building’s heating needs. The installation involved modifying the existing boiler piping, gas connections, and venting to accommodate the new equipment. NCS also installed a new expansion tank, completed line- and low-voltage electrical connections, and incorporated the required boiler safety controls, including manual-reset high-limit controllers. Following installation, NCS filled the system, completed startup and commissioning procedures, and coordinated the required permitting and inspection process.
