We completed a comprehensive insulation project for this new construction home in Kingston, New York. Our team applied spray foam across the entire building envelope, including the exterior walls, vaulted cathedral ceilings, and attic rafters. This strategic application creates a high-performance thermal boundary within the newly framed structure, ensuring total coverage of the Zip System sheathing and structural studs. We utilized 2.0-density closed-cell spray foam to maximize energy efficiency and provide additional structural rigidity. The material was meticulously applied around all window frames, plumbing runs, and electrical penetrations to eliminate air infiltration and moisture concerns. This high-yield insulation solution provides the homeowners with long-term durability and significant energy savings throughout the year.
