We completed a specialized HVAC installation for the Jamestown Community Food Bank to improve climate control in their pantry and storage areas. Our team installed a Mitsubishi Electric ductless mini-split system, including both indoor wall-mounted units and a high-efficiency outdoor heat pump condenser. This project involved integrating the new system into the existing structure while ensuring the building’s envelope was protected with CertainTeed house wrap and updated vinyl siding. To ensure peak performance, we calibrated the system using Fieldpiece digital manifolds and handled all necessary electrical panel adjustments to accommodate the new load. The outdoor unit was mounted on a secure metal stand atop a custom gravel pad to allow for proper drainage and protection from the elements. This upgrade provides reliable, energy-efficient temperature regulation, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the food bank’s extensive commercial refrigeration equipment.
