We installed a new Navien high-efficiency tankless combination boiler system to provide reliable home heating and on-demand hot water. The project involved mounting the unit in an unfinished basement utility space and replacing aging plumbing with a streamlined wall-hung configuration. We utilized a perforated metal backer board to organize the complex network of copper piping and integrated a new expansion tank and circulating pumps into the system. Our team carefully routed white PVC venting through the exterior wall and updated the gas lines to meet the requirements of the high-performance unit. This upgrade significantly improves the energy efficiency of the residence while reclaiming valuable floor space in the basement. The final installation ensures the home has a consistent and durable mechanical system designed for long-term performance.
