We completed a comprehensive structural repair and restoration of an elevated wooden balcony for this Cudahy residence. Our team addressed significant surface decay and weather damage on the deck boards and supporting posts to ensure the structure remained safe and stable. We carefully prepared the site with protective tarps to shield the building’s windows and HVAC equipment during the repair phases. We installed new pressure-treated wood deck boards and reinforced the vertical railing system to replace weathered and splintered materials. The restoration included securing the diagonal support braces and addressing structural rot that had compromised the original wood surface. This project restored full functionality and safety to the outdoor living space while blending seamlessly with the existing brick facade.
