We completed a comprehensive residential roof replacement for this Boise home, transitioning the property from a failing clay tile system to durable architectural asphalt shingles. The project involved a full tear-off of the existing damaged tiles and deteriorated wooden fascia to address leaks and compromised flashing. We corrected several critical issues, including cracked tiles and failing transitions at wall junctions that had impacted the original roof's integrity. After stripping the old materials, we installed new plywood decking and high-performance synthetic underlayment to ensure a waterproof foundation. We integrated multi-toned brown architectural shingles, new plumbing vent stacks, and updated flashing around the chimney and skylights. This complete system provides superior protection against the elements while significantly modernizing the home's exterior aesthetic.
