This project centered on bringing an aging, weathered farmhouse back to life from the decking up. The original roof suffered from years of temporary patchwork and severe moisture damage, requiring an extensive structural rebuild before installing a permanent, modern metal system. --- ### Key Project Details * **Full Tear-Off of Patchwork Roofing:** Completely stripped away multiple layers of failing, mismatched roofing materials and temporary patches to expose the underlying structure. * **Extensive Wood Decking Repair:** Addressed widespread rot across the roof deck by tearing out and replacing all compromised, soft wood sheathing. This restored the structural integrity of the roof and created a solid, level substrate for the new panels. * **Textured Black Metal System:** Installed a premium **Textured Black metal roof** across the entire structure. The specialized textured finish cuts down on harsh sunlight glare, avoids the high-sheen look of traditional flat metal, and delivers a clean, matte profile. --- ### The Result This historic farmhouse went from a deteriorating, leak-prone structure to a fully fortified home with modern curb appeal.
