This project highlights a creative and durable solution for both roofing and masonry challenges. By utilizing "roof-over" and "siding-over" techniques, we completely modernized the home’s aesthetic while providing a high-performance shield against the elements. Key Project Details Textured Burnished Slate Roof: Installed a new textured Burnished Slate metal roof directly over the existing shingles. This choice offers a rich, earthy tone with a matte finish that minimizes glare and provides a lifetime of protection. Steel Chimney Wrap: Addressed failing brickwork on the chimney by installing steel textured black board and batten siding. This high-durability steel wrap provides a clean, vertical aesthetic that instantly upgrades the home’s profile. Coordinated Finishing: Topped the structure with a custom textured black chimney cap, perfectly matching the new siding and providing a sharp, finished look to the roofline. High-Capacity Drainage: Installed new 6" K-Style gutters and downspouts in Black. The larger 6" capacity ensures superior water management during heavy rainfall, while the black finish perfectly accents the Burnished Slate and chimney trim. The Result The contrast between the Burnished Slate roof and the Bold Black accents creates a sophisticated, multi-dimensional look. By wrapping the damaged masonry in steel and upgrading the drainage to a high-capacity system, we've provided a maintenance-free exterior that solves structural eyesores with modern, high-end materials.
