James Residence
This residential transformation focused on upgrading a home’s durability while meticulously matching its existing architectural features. By moving from worn-out asphalt shingles to a commercial-grade metal profile, we provided a massive leap in structural protection and visual cohesion. Key Project Details Commercial-Grade 26-Gauge Steel: Replaced the failing shingles with a thick, heavy-duty 26-gauge metal roof. This heavier steel profile offers superior dent resistance against hail, increased wind performance, and structural rigidity compared to standard thinner gauges. Textured Burnished Slate Finish: Selected a premium textured Burnished Slate coating. The specialized textured surface diffuses light beautifully to eliminate high-gloss glare and prevent the "oil canning" look, giving the panels a rich, matte finish. Perfect Stonework Pairing: The deep, earthy tones of the Burnished Slate were specifically chosen to complement the home's existing stonework. The metal's matte texture pulls out the natural gray, brown, and charcoal hues in the masonry, tying the entire exterior together. The Result The transition from weathered shingles to a structured 26-gauge metal system completely transforms the home's silhouette. This project proves that high-performance engineering doesn't mean sacrificing style—the Burnished Slate finish honors the home's premium stone accents while delivering a lifetime roofing solution.
