Richard and Kathryn were very diligent about choosing the right contractor for their exterior project. They weren’t simply looking for the lowest price—they wanted a company they could trust to communicate clearly, identify issues honestly, and deliver quality work. We’re grateful they chose Pathway Home Painting & Improvements and gave us the opportunity to serve them. What began as an exterior painting project became a much larger restoration when we uncovered additional deteriorated wood during preparation. Our team replaced numerous sections of damaged cedar siding, trim, fascia, window components, and other exterior wood before properly preparing the home for paint. We documented the additional conditions as we discovered them and worked closely with Richard and Kathryn throughout the project. Once repairs and preparation were completed, the home received a dramatic color transformation with Sherwin-Williams SW 6530 Revel Blue siding and crisp white trim. We also upgraded portions of the project with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Rain Refresh for additional exterior durability and finished the porch ceiling with a traditional Charleston-inspired haint blue. The finished project completely refreshed the home's appearance while addressing significant exterior deterioration that developed over the years. Most importantly, Richard and Kathryn completed their final walkthrough 100% satisfied with the finished project. We’re thankful for the trust they placed in our team and proud to have helped preserve and transform their Charleston home.
